5/8/2024 0 Comments Sims 4 basemental drugs cheats![]() People get injuries and then there is a recovery time. And as long as I'm not using, I will always be in recovery. ![]() But notice how I still called myself an addict? That's because I am. and having known COUNTLESS others in my 31 years on Earth, it IS ABSOLUTELY a lifelong trait!! I am currently in recovery and have been for quite some time now, a year and a half to be exact. I'm sorry, this is literally my first downvote in an my years on Reddit. I feel like it should happen on its own.Īyahuasca sounds interesting. So all the storytelling has to come from me, forcing them to fight. It doesn't seem to affect the relationship at all, just the one Sim's mood (temporarily). I don't play with teens much, but so far all I've really seen is partners getting sad when they notice their significant other using. So I'll have a moodlet that says "So-and-so is an alcoholic!" but even if they have a bar in their house I need to direct them to use it. One thing that bugged me a lot was that no matter what I do, Sims never consume alcohol autonomously. Then if you relapse it would be a big deal, rather than, basically, them becoming alcoholic again in an identical way to the first time. I wish "alcoholic" and other addictions were lifelong traits you can never get rid of, rather than a moodlet. What I mean is that if you take their drugs away it's not a big deal, their cravings will be intense for a bit but then they go away and that's it. I didn't say that they go cold turkey themselves. Like teens will be arrested if they travel with drugs. What's also even better about basemental is that it crosses over with mods like delinquent teens by adeepindigo, which adds even more gameplay. ![]() Idk man, imo it's a great mod as long as you have a good understanding of the settings and how to work with it since it's so detailed, it's easy to not be aware of many things that the mod offers. Lastly, ayahuasca has some pretty intense effects on the sims □ it's fun to send them off to Selvadora and then they get fucked up on it there. They can even hide it, and the parents find the drugs and get pissed, and if they get caught 3 time they forcibly send them to rehab. Coz when they're drunk they can become autonomously flirty which can be really problematic, and they're constant need for alcohol gets annoying because it gets in the way of getting shit done which is realistic.Īlso, do you have reactions on? They add very interesting dynamic gameplay when you have a teen that's consuming drugs and the parents don't approve of it. Their withdrawals from it are intense coz of the uncomfortable level, and yes you can then make them take more, however they'll still experience the moodlet of going down from the drug.įor me, alcohol and weed are very easy to manage tho not really actually. Maybe your drug susceptibility setting is not on?Īlso when my sims take hard drugs like cocaine, they get really fucked up to the extent that I actually dont like playing with it. What? My sims never go cold turkey by themselves, if I wanna get them off drugs, I actually have to pay a pot of attention to them and make sure they dont consume it autonomously. It's the definition of something that's a mile wide but an inch deep. I appreciate that this mod exists, but I feel like it has so much wasted potential. And if you get sick of it and want your Sim to longer be an addict, no worries, just go cold turkey and soon enough your Sim's addiction will disappear and they'll never think about drugs again. Other than the risk of an overdose, there are no interesting gameplay effects or storytelling consequences to being an addict. You can show up to work blind drunk every day and no one cares. They don't affect school or job performance. Crave drugs, take drugs, be OK for a while, repeat that's it.ĭrugs don't make Sims behave inappropriately. Being addicted is functionally just an extra motive you need to stay on top of. You can still do everything you usually do. ![]() You get a different mood for a while that's it. There's so much attention to detail in this mod when it comes to the drugs themselves, and almost none when it comes to their effects.īeing high is essentially cosmetic. OK, I realize mods are free and I shouldn't complain.
